King of football Diego Maradona, one of the outstanding players passed away at 60 due to a heart attack. He suffered a fatal heart attack at his home in Buenos Aries. He was born on October 30, 1960 in Lanus Argentina .This football magician was the captain of the 1986 World cup team against England and made his nation proud by achieving the title for second time. He scored twice in a 2-1 victory over England in the quarterfinals in Mexico City. His inborn talent for football was clear at an early age. At just 10 years he would perform at halftime matches, showing an incredible ability to keep the ball airborne for minutes with his feet, chest and head.

He played for many world’s famous teams such as Argentinos Juniors, Boca Juniors, FC Barcelona, Napoli FC, Sevilla FC and Newell's Old Boys.

He debuted in the World Cup of 1982 held in Spain but was out of the game with a red card for retaliation.Argentina, already eliminated, lost the match to Brazil.

Argentine president Alberto Fernandez immediately announced three days of national mourning in the South American country.
