Isgec Heavy Engineering Limited, BSE Script Code: 533033, has bagged an order from Karnataka Power Corporations Limited (KCPL) for setting up a 11.5 MW Waste to Energy (WTE) Plant in Bidadi, an industrial hub located 32 kilometer from Bangalore.
The plant will have a capacity to use 600 tonnes of separated waste per day to produce power. The project includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, civil works, construction, commissioning and performance guarantee testing.
Isgec expert in manufacturing and setting up of Turnkey Projects, will be setting up this plant along with their consortium partner Hitachi Zosen India Pvt Ltd., a company having vast experience of setting up of over 900 WTE plants across the world. This will be the second Waste to Energy plant set up by this consortium partner and the first one running successfully in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh for the last 4 years.
