Hero MotoCorp sales rise 19.7% in the Q3 FY’21

Hero MotoCorp Limited, NSE Symbol: HEROMOTOCO, BSE script Code: 500182, has published its sales report which shows the company increased 19.7% sales in the quarter three (Q3) financial year FY-21, company sold 18.45 lakh units during the October-December period, FY-21 in compare to 15.41 lakh units had sold in the corresponded quarter FY-20.

Total sales data of motorcycles and scooters revels, it sold 447,335 units in December’20, FY-21  against the corresponded month FY-20, company had sold 424,845 units vehicles.

Company also published the individual sales segments of motorcycles and scooter, it recorded that motorcycles were sold 415,099 units in Dec,20 FY-21, which indicates higher volume than corresponding tenure was 403,625 units in FY-20.  

Scooters segment gained 32,236 units sales in Dec,20 FY-21, compared to 21,220 units had sold in corresponded month,FY-20.

However, motorcycles sales were sold 38,96,089 units from April to December (YTD FY’ 21) against 47,10,766 units which indicates low grade than corresponded YTD.

Scooter sales volume was lower than its previous YTD, it recorded 3,27,136 units had sold in FY-21 where 3,64,442 units had sold in corresponded YTD FY-20

All total motorcycle and scooter YTD both held lower sales volume, it recorded 42,23,225 units in FY’21, and 50,75,208 units in FY’20.

It’s total domestic sales increased at 425,033 units in Dec’20 FY’21 in comparison to 412,009 units in the Dec’19 FY’20. Total domestic YTD FY’21 sales were 41,03,381 and 49,46,508 in the FY’20.

The company also reported its exports were in volume higher than corresponded month, that was 22,302 unit in FY’21 and 12,836 FY’20. But exports YTD were lower than corresponded YTD, which shows 1,19,844 unit in FY-21 and 1,28,700 in the FY’20.
